Erewhon Market

Described as being “like a Whole Food’s on crack” and a “millennial’s Disneyland,” by some very happy customers, Erewhon Market is literally everything: It’s a juice bar, a salad bar, a hot foods market and a grocery store.

It’s also a popular celebrity hangout.

It’s a bit on the expensive side, but you’re really paying for the quality here (as well as a potential celebrity cameo or two).

Clean food, gluten-free produce and selfies with a movie star? It’s all going down here.

What else? The market has its very own Erewhon Standard that every single item on their shelves has to meet before it can be sold here. Therefore, you know it’s gonna be gooooood.

Online shopping? Of course

Urban Radish describes themselves as an “upscale grocery store.” Here, you’ll find artisanal cheeses, specially curated sandwiches, cereals, and lots of organic produce. Yummy.

It’s a mom-and-pop shop that sources all of its food ethically, and this extends to its seafood and meat selection.

Popular dishes in the eatery, meanwhile, include the refreshing kale salad, the divine avocado toast and the blue cheese burger. This eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day of the week.

Yes, we’re salivating, too.

What else? Organic craft beer is available.

Online shopping? You bet

Good Life Organics

Sam and Mark Sirota founded Good Life Organics almost ten years ago, and it’s their love of a good old farmers market that’s really shone through here. All their food is sourced from local farmers, and it’s all 100% organic.

Plus, we’ll hold them to their claim that their fruit is the ‘best tasting fruit’ around.

Essentially, this is a home delivery service where you order a box of fruit and veg and get it delivered to your door. The boxes change each week, but as I’m writing this article, this week’s selection includes kiwi fruit, baby spinach, celery, and red leaf lettuce.

The idea is that you and your kids get as much fruit and veg into your diet as possible the easy way.

What else? Shopping at Good Life Organics also means you’ll be supporting local schools, charities and sustainable agriculture.

Address: 11024 Balboa Blvd #27, Granada Hills, CA 91344

Online shopping? Absolutely.
