Flore Vegan is a plant-based restaurant that’s been in operation since 2007. It describes itself as a neighborhood stand joint that offers a homely space to eat for locals and tourists alike.
Opening hours are fairly limited (it’s open 11 AM to 4 PM Mondays to Thursdays, but longer on Fridays), but there’s SO much good stuff on the menu, including vegan chicken, waffles, and breakfast burritos.

Soulshine Vegan Market & Cafe, San Diego
Soulshine Vegan Market & Cafe is perfect for those wistful summer days when you want to sit outside and eat vegan brunch on a patio, watching the day go by while the sun shines on your face. Most of its produce is sourced from local San Diego artisans, the business is community-driven, and the atmosphere is nice and cheery.
The menu includes a scrumptious brioche breakfast sandwich, cheese and jalapeño galette, and superfood avocado toast. You can also get tea, coffee, and soft drinks.

Love Cafe was closed temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the team is looking forward to opening its doors once again to the Californian public in 2021.
Love Cafe is 100% vegan and organic, and it was in fact the first vegan restaurant in Madera County. Founded by Tricia Louise Tracy, the café is an extension of her passion for healthy food and healthy living.
All the food is freshly prepared with love, the business is family-run, and you can expect a very hearty, very warm welcome.
Merit Vegan Restaurant, Sunnyvale
Merit Vegan Restaurant was voted as one of the Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Silicon Valley of 2020.
That should give you some clue as to just how good this place is. With a focus on Asian cuisine, such as noodle soups, Merit offers a wide range of tasty dishes. There are gluten and nut-free options on the menu, cakes, desserts, drinks — and more.

Eden Vegan Restaurant, Dana Point
Eden Vegan Restaurant is another super cool vegan restaurant that prepares fresh food on the daily. A café that’s aimed at helping you stay healthy by maximizing your nutritional intake, it’s one of the oldest vegan cafes in Huntington Beach.
It’s also worth mentioning that Eden focuses on Asian-fusion vegan food. If the likes of Asian crispy rolls, lettuce wraps, and rocket wonton sound good to you, it’s time to get on down there.
